Additionally, for those that trim their ears, eyebrows, and nose hair, this precision trimmer is the perfect pen sized gadget to get the job done quickly, even on the go.

To my surprise, I found this Wahl Micro GroomsMan detailer in my stocking this Christmas. Its small, pen-sized trimmer profile is intriguing and a fun grooming product to review.
Upon inspection, this Wahl precision trimmer only cost around $10 on Amazon. It’s extremely affordable, and with the guarantees by Wahl, a low-risk trimmer to test.
Pushing It To The Limit
At the end of the day, the trimming blades are small on the Micro GroomsMan, and its primary use is as an ear, nose and eyebrow trimmer. However, in this video, I take this detailer to its limits.
By seeing how far I can get beard trimming, I show the extreme use case for this Wahl micro device. With a week and a half of beard growth, I put this trimmer through its paces, to trim my beard down to a goatee. I detail around the mustache, and really make this little trimmer earn its #15 ranking as a beard and mustache trimmer.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Wahl Micro GroomsMan Precision Trimmer Model 5640 really works hard for its size. It may be small, but it got through my beard and left me with a stubble finish that looks great. For its price of roughly $10 on Amazon, there’s little risk in testing it out and seeing what you think. This device can be stored in any small space, and great on the go in a pocket, purse or bag.
