At GroomReviews, we're all about CONFIDENCE.
Confidence is an essential ingredient for leading a happy life because it allows you to feel good about yourself and your abilities. When you have confidence, you are more likely to take risks, try new things, and pursue a life you love with enthusiasm and persistence.
Paul started GroomReviews back in 2012 with a simple goal in mind: to help other men find the best beard trimmer for their needs and show them how to use it by demonstrating on his own face.
It only took a couple of videos for GroomReviews to take on a life of its own.
As Paul’s audience grew and comments started flooding in, we learned that there was something deeper going on. Men weren’t just looking for beard trimming tutorials; they were looking to build their confidence, and a lot of the time that process starts in front of the mirror each morning.
And men aren’t alone in seeking more confidence.
In fact, most of us have always assumed that building confidence via personal care was more of a women’s conversation. But what we’ve learned in growing GroomReviews and connecting with the community is that men and women have the confidence struggle in common. Yes, the personal care looks different – but deep down, we all want to feel good about ourselves and walk through the day with our heads held high.
This insight has led to our new mission, which is to help our beloved audience build greater confidence by providing them with information, resources and access to important conversations across a variety of lifestyle topics.
We will always test and review health, beauty and personal care products – it’s a cornerstone of our brand and we value the fact that you look to us as a go-to for quality and honesty.
Moving forward, we’ll also be exploring the process of building confidence more broadly – because it’s a deeper lifestyle pursuit that goes far beyond the bathroom mirror.
