In this video, I’m taking a look at the Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer. This hair dryer is an Amazon Choice Best Seller, ranking at #1 for the category for Hot-Air Hair Brushes. It also holds an impressive 4.5 out of 5.0 star review rating.
Looking to kick my natural hair style up a notch…or two!
The Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer is intended for both drying and styling. The manufacturer claims it can do both in up to half the time with less heat related damage than comparable products. This is due to its many unique features, including innovative airflow vents and ceramic surface coating.
Ionic Technology
According to Revlon, the ceramic coating, “helps protect hair from over-styling with even heat distribution that penetrates hair quickly and dries from the inside out.” This product also boasts its Ionic Technology in which “negative ions help maintain a neutral charge on the hair’s surface leaving the hair looking conditioned and smooth, while helping reduce frizz and static for healthy shiny hair.” Additionally, it’s “Oval Design with Boar Technology” offers “extra lift, smooth volume, curled ends.”
Tangle-free Bristles
The Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Styler also offers tangle-free nylon pin bristles with rounded tips that help to detangle hair, along with tufted bristles that grip the hair to create a smooth, shiny look. Revlon claims that thanks to its 1100-Watt power, it provides “just the right amount of heat” and can therefore “be placed closer to the scalp for lift.” This dryer and volumizer offers a lightweight ergonomic design, multiple heat settings (including high, low and cool) and a swivel cord – all for superior flexibility and ease of use. And the two-in-one brush-dryer combo means easier back-of-the-head styling.
Testing the Revlon One-step Hair Dryer and Volumizer
In the product demonstration, I start by washing my hair with ACURE Body Beautiful Shampoo and Conditioner. ACURE is seriously my favorite shampoo and conditioner brand. It gives my hair so much extra body and lift, and it’s 100% vegan, paraben free, sulfate free, phthalate free, mineral oil free, petrolatum free, silicone free and cruelty free. After washing and conditioning, I towel-dry to remove excess moisture and comb through to detangle. (I always towel-dry before drying my hair and the product instructions recommend doing so as well.) Then I use clips to section my hair and start drying/styling for a natural, everyday look.
